On the road
Alongside his teaching in Vienna and Graz, Boris Kuschnir has given masterclasses for decades — in Europe, Israel, East Asia and beyond. Work that develops over semesters in a regular class is concentrated into a few days, a focused repertoire and often a public final concert. Admission is generally by audition through the organiser.

International masterclass on Lake Geneva, organised by Association LLMM in cooperation with the Centre de Musique Hindemith. Boris Kuschnir teaches annually alongside colleagues including Mihaela Martin (violin), Nobuko Imai (viola), Frans Helmerson (cello) and Daniel Austrich (chamber music). Six students per teacher, with admission by audition. The programme includes daily individual lessons, a shared chamber orchestra rehearsal and a public final concert. Summer masterclass at Schloss Hohenprießnitz with individual instrumental lessons, public teaching sessions, an accompanist and daily student performances. The programme includes a faculty concert with selected participants and a final concert. Boris Kuschnir also offers individual advice on entrance examinations, auditions, competitions and concert careers. Outstanding participants receive concert opportunities in venues including Sankt Blasien, Zurich, Liechtenstein, Leipzig and Hamburg. Please contact the organiser for dates.
